Happy New Year! | Hayes Valley, San Francisco
My boyfriend Ernie and I spent almost all of Christmas day in sweatpants. He prepared a great dinner while I contributed very little, and we celebrated by dining with my roommate and my brother. But since we weren’t all decked out in portrait-friendly outfits, Ernie and I decided to head out the next day to grab a couple portraits of ourselves. We usually don’t get many photos together, since I’m always pointing my camera at other people or at our food. We arbitrarily picked Hayes Valley, a small, super-cute little neighborhood in San Francisco packed with adorable boutiques and small restaurants. And since it was just the two of us, we had to rely on the trusty tripod and self timer. I think we did ok.
