San Diego | California Coasting, Part 11

We have finally reached the grand finale of my California Coasting solo road trip: San Diego! Over the course of one week, I drove about 1300 miles and made twenty or thirty-some stops along the way, generating this slew of eleven different blog posts. I love the sense of adventure and space for reflection that a solo road trip affords. It combines two of my greatest loves– travel and photography.

First up, Old Town San Diego.

Then I met with my friend Chris for coffee in University Heights.

Just before sunset, I headed across the bridge to Coronado Island.

And finally, some photos right at dusk by the Gaslamp District.

This entire trip, I was just incredibly grateful for this indulgence in my unusual lifestyle, and I was just brimming with love for this incredibly beautiful state that I live in. Thanks, California! And thank you to all my friends along the way.
