Exactly one year ago yesterday, I did the very first ballerina shoot of my Pointe of View series here in Oakland with Sharon.

It was only fitting that I celebrate today by watching Sharon perform in the Oakland Ballet Company’s Nutcracker. This was my second Nutcracker of the season, after having watched the San Francisco Ballet earlier this month. The Paramount Theater is an awesome monument to art deco style.

I snuck a couple photos of the show.
