Every Monday, I feature an image and backstory from my Pointe of View series. 

It’s been an incredible weekend packed with friends, food, and festivities. We kicked it off on Friday with two of our friends getting engaged in an elaborate surprise proposal plan, dinner and drinks with twenty friends from all over the US, fried chicken and a full day of wine tasting on Saturday, and it was all capped off with a twelve-person dinner at Thomas Keller’s world-famous restaurant, The French Laundry. Of course there will be many more posts elaborating on all of these wonderful occasions, but for now, a single image that seems apropos of a long weekend of celebrations. Thank you, dear friends. What an awesome way to kick off the month of June!
