Sonoma Coast Retreat
It’s a three-hour drive from the San Francisco up along the California Coast to Sea Ranch. And since I was making the trek to photograph a beautiful wedding up there, I decided to turn it into a little weekend retreat. On the way up, I stopped at this little roadside cafe in Jenner for brunch.
On the way back down, I stayed the night in Valley Ford, a tiny one-block town. The hotel was quaint and charming.
In the morning, I went to Wild Flour Bread, a bakery with rave reviews on Yelp. I picked up this olive loaf and a delicious pear-walnut scone.
There’s a great little garden behind the bakery with all sorts of tasty ingredients for their baked goods too. I walked around and took it all in.
I love a good little solo road trip!
The next item on my agenda: spa time!
So nice and restorative, especially after having shot two weddings in a row and driven hundreds of miles too.
And of course, no trip along the coast is complete without some seaside relaxation time.
Til next time, California Coast.
