Shirin & Eric | San Francisco Engagement Photography
Shirin and Eric first met at SantaCon five years ago (with her dressed as Ms. Gingerbread and he as Super Santa), so Christmas is one of their favorite times of year. For the proposal, Eric wanted to pay tribute to Shirin’s old tradition of creating fairytale books for her family, so he taught himself how to craft an elaborate wooden puzzle book, featuring their love story and complete with moving parts that unlock each page. He also learned how to forge a ring and made her engagement ring himself. What a fun story for an amazing couple! See some of their at-home Christmas-themed engagement session below.
Meet Pickles, their labradoodle!
I still can’t believe Eric made this whole book himself! And Shirin was still not expecting the ring hidden on the last page, because he’s just that sweet all the time. She thought it was just a really awesome birthday gift.
You can read more about the proposal book on instructables.
Congratulations, Shirin & Eric!
