Anna Wu Photography is celebrating 10 years in business this month! In honor of the anniversary, we’re catching up with past clients to see where they are now in our “After I Do” series.

Today, we catch up with Jessica and Young, who were wed in San Carlos on October 10, 2015.

So… How has life has changed in the last couple years?

It’s only been a year and a half, but we’ve moved into a new house with an actual bed room, bought a car and visited 6 countries. Also getting used to referring to each other as husband or wife whenever talking with other people.

What is an unexpected lesson or a challenge you’ve had to overcome in the last 2 years?

Not necessarily a challenge or lesson about us but home owning has its own set of challenges that have been eye opening. No more landlord or manager when something breaks!

Do you ever look back at your wedding photos? Do you have any favorite images from your wedding day?

We do especially since social media has gotten clever in reminding you of past events in your life and it makes you look back and reminiscence.

Looking back on your wedding day, is there anything you wish you had known or done differently?

We wish we slowed down and enjoyed each moment. It’s cliche but the day really does fly by and it’s over in a flash. And also, we wish we ate more of the food.

Any advice for couples who are about to get married?

For the wedding day, do what is important to each of you, make it your own, don’t worry about what people will think about the day and have fun with it.

Top three hopes or things you are looking forward to in your future?

More travel, dogs, and food.
