February recap! We started off the month with a 5k/10k race and wrapped it up with a Reno/Tahoe trip. Below are those highlights and everything between!

Office of Accountability monthly meeting.

Run training. And running the Kaiser Permanente race in Golden Gate Park!

Post-run dim sum at Dragon Beaux.

Dinner at Piccino, and a massage at Thy Spa!

Biweekly book club.

Spark Social lunch.

Cholita Linda at the Ferry Building, and then it was time to board our ferry to Alcatraz!

Absolutely beautiful, warm day for a visit to Alcatraz.

It was Alex, Stephanie, and Michael’s first time visiting the island.

Beautiful light and peeling paint abound.

A tantalizing view.

Alcatraz crew!

Back at the Ferry Building for some Gott’s. Love their seasonal pistachio milkshake.

Superbowl Sunday! Reppin my hometown of Cincinnati. Sadly they lost, but we had some tasty $.75 wings from New Belgium!

Lots of baking projects this month. Pork floss buns and rose shumai from the Mooncakes & Milk Bread cookbook. I also made madeleines to bring to Do-Hee’s Valentine’s Day dinner.

Picking up flowers from Francis & Frances. I decided to get a bouquet each for Courtney, Cassie, and Do-Hee. Galentine’s Day every day.

Westy examining the bouquet delivery.

Do-Hee and Josh made their amazing cioppino again. And Cassie made bread!

Love.

Next-day rearrangements of my bouquet.

Lobster rolls, and homemade tang yuan for Lantern Festival at the end of Lunar New Year.

Weekly accountability check-ins.

Dumpling Time at Thrive City.

Fiorella.

Fernanda’s gallery show at Common Space! We bought this painting. Love it.

North Bay day. Lunch at Fish, a stop by Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, and a visit to Cavallo Point.

Lunch with Alex’s family.

Biking around Sunnyvale with Alex and his brother.

My first time seeing Levi’s Stadium.

Dinner with Dan & Jeri, our South Bay friends. :)

Book Club!

My new colored pencil set. And happy hour oysters.

And the monthly Whitney chat!
