Saguaro National Park & Picacho Peak, Arizona

|

I’ve been to Arizona a couple of times, but this was my first visit to Saguaro National Park. We got lucky with some very comfortable weather and a stunning desert sunset. And the next day, as we drove from Tucson to Phoenix, we also got to visit a desert superbloom, as the springtime poppies had sprouted all over the place, amidst the saguaros, at Picacho Peak. See both park visits below!

Hooray, another national park for my stamp book.

The entire western half of the country has gotten record amounts of rain this winter, causing lots of beautiful flowers to spring to life!

Gorgeous, such a wonderful national park visit!

The next day, poppies and cacti at Pichaco Peak!

Very cute bunny cactus in this year of the rabbit.

We dressed to the theme, naturally.

Superbloom!

Loved it all! Such spectacular parks in Arizona.
Part three: baseball, coming soon!
