Angela & Henry | San Francisco Surprise Proposal

Angela reached out to me months in advance to schedule a couple’s session for her and her boyfriend to commemorate their time in San Francisco, as they were on the verge of moving to a different city together. Great! I thought, Why only celebrate engagements and weddings? I would love it if everyone did more photo sessions just to celebrate every year of life.

Well, two days before the session, Henry reached out and asked if it might be ok that he planned on proposing during the session, as a surprise. Of course! More than ok, let’s do it! Little did I (or Angela) know, he had engineered the whole thing, planting the idea of the photo session months prior and getting Angela to think it was all her idea. They had shopped for the ring together and the jeweler had conspired with him to tell her it wasn’t ready yet, which meant Angela had no idea the proposal was coming, even though they had already begun planning the wedding.

What a sweet moment and a wonderful joyous moment to be a part of. Angela was absolutely surprised and delighted, and quite possibly still a bit stunned for the rest o the session. Congratulations, you two!
