Chrissy & Aaron | Mt. Tam Elopement Photography

Well, I’ve never encountered a foggier day atop Mt. Tam. But Chrissy and Aaron have already been through many difficult challenges in life together: surviving a pandemic, caring for ailing family members, and also grieving great losses together. So this layer of cold, windy fog certainly didn’t rank anywhere on their top challenges list. Rather, they and their friends rose to the occasion with heartfelt vows, laughter, tears, and a few shivers– but also lots of warm hugs and love through it all.

First, the bride’s entrance — she rode in in a friend’s red Thunderbird, red lights flashing through the fog, as Aaron looked on with complete surprise and delight. He loves classic cars and had no idea this was happening.

Aaron’s reaction, and Chrissy’s bouquet with a little scrabble tile in honor of her late mother.

A very dramatic entrance through the fog!

Aaron, in turn, surprised Chrissy with the Monstera rug, aisle runner, and tropical leaves and lanterns for the ceremony. The entire celebration was Hawaiian-themed in honor of Chrissy’s late stepfather who lived in Hawaii.

Cheers!

After the ceremony, we went higher in elevation and finally found ourselves above the fog.

Stunning.

Such a joy to be a small part of your epic love story.

Congratulations, Chrissy & Aaron!
