A Fruit Themed Baby Shower

We had a lovely little fruit-themed baby shower on Mother’s Day last year. Of course it involved lots of arts & crafts, and I even made people do some homework for baby. A very heartfelt thank you to everyone who came and participated in welcoming baby into our community!

Thank you to Courtney and Steph for helping to set up my fruit backdrop wall.

I invited our friends to help make a fruit mobile for baby! I assembled the felt pieces and some rough instructions, and let everyone sign themselves up for some homework, sewing these at home!

Can you tell what these will be? Scroll all the way to the end to see the finished mobile.

Thank you to Stephanie for helping me create this lovely flower bar for Mother’s Day! She also helped us turn our wedding florals into Mother’s Day Bouquets a couple years prior. Putting her floral skills to good use! Also, it was very sweet to have a baby shower on Mother’s Day. Thanks to all the other mamas for spending the afternoon with us too.

Fruit bar for the fruit theme, thanks to Jackson and Courtney!

And a million peach kit kats and funny snacks from Muji thanks to our recent trip back to Tokyo. Hello Auntie Courtney and little Enzo, then just six months old!

We also had a name-guessing station and a task sign-up board for things like helping us to assemble furniture.

Courtney and Jeri helped make this coloring book activity for the littles, creating a fruit-themed alphabet book for baby!

Showing off some of baby’s handmade wardrobe.

And opening some gifts!

Every fruit was accounted for in the end! And everyone did such a wonderful job! Baby really loved her fruit mobile. Such a wonderful gift from the community.
