Magali & Sam | Sea Ranch Lodge | Northern California Wedding Photography
Their love stretches back in time and reaches gently into the future. There is never a sense of hurry. Rather, a feeling of space and suspension as they linger in every moment.
Magali and Sam are both incredibly kind, warm, and thoughtful, and together they are simply wonderful. We were so honored to be there to capture the day in both video and photo. It was a lovely wedding at Sea Ranch, a town many miles up the winding roads of the Pacific Coast Highway, on a cliff overlooking the ocean.
First, the beautiful highlight film by our sister company Seaglass Cinema. There is something about the music and the tone of this video that just melts my heart.

Glittery Louboutins and a beautiful letterpress suite. I love the attention to detail.
Sam gifted custom embroidered ties to all of his groomsmen, and the blue ties were even thoughtfully purchased in varying shades to match the bridesmaids’ dresses they were paired with.
Their first look was so sweet, and beautifully captured in the Seaglass Cinema video as well.
I loved this old barn on a patch of green grass by the sea.
Magali’s brother Vince hand painted the ceremony sign below.
The florals were beautifully done by Coastal Posies from a farm nearby.
Magali’s mother performed the lasso ritual, looping the cord around the bride and groom. It’s a tradition in many Mexican and Latin weddings, but this was the first time I’d seen such a colorful floral lasso– perfect for their wedding!
And of course, the breaking of the glass to incorporate the Jewish traditions of Sam’s family.
I loved the different blue bridesmaids dresses and those blue ties to match.
Magali and Sam opted to add this Instax camera to their wedding day, and it was a huge hit! Future clients keep this option in mind. Guests were free to use the camera to snap photos of each other, and they left these instant photos for the guest book.
Adirondack chairs! And the girls pulled on their matching embroidered shawls to match their lovely yellow shoes.
I love, love, love this woodcut print Magali & Sam’s friend made for them on the title page of their guest book.
A slow salsa for a first dance…
Followed by a crazy fun-filled hora!
Love the shadows on the tent ceiling.
Thank you again, Magali & Sam, for being such amazing people and for having us at your wedding. Much love to you both!
