Fuko & Robert | San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography

“It’s a little different from the norm,” they told me, but it was such a unique and meaningful way to celebrate their wedding with their friends and family across the US. Fuko and Robert would be officially wed in San Francisco’s City Hall with their closest family. Then they would continue the celebration in Chicago, the city where they met. And finally, they would have a reception in DC where Robert’s family resides. The series of intimate gatherings would be the start of their new lives together, with friends and family in tow.

I had the honor of photographing the San Francisco City Hall portion of their wedding celebrations, taking portraits of their families and documenting the ceremony that would officially kick off their marriage. It was so wonderful to see how much they all love each other and to witness this trilingual melding of families firsthand.
