On Set | Langham Huntington, Pasadena | Behind the Scenes of Love Arcadia
Picture is up! Camera? Speed. Sound? Speed. Mark it. A Marker. ACTION!
On the last day of January, we got up before the sun and headed to the gorgeous Langham Huntington in Pasadena. Call time was 7:30am, and this was day 15 of shooting for Love Arcadia. My friend Theresa had been working on this script for years, and she, together with two other friends, raised over $40k on Kickstarter to help fund this feature film. I was only on set for this very last day of shooting, but it was such a treat to be behind the scenes on all the movie magic. Here are some of my favorite moments from that day.
Congrats to the entire cast & crew! Can’t wait to see the finished film!
Love Arcadia is a feature-length coming-of-age romantic dramedy that tells the story of a wayward teen that must defend his family’s bubble tea shop from a real estate developer with a mysterious link to his past. Learn more about the project on their (successfully funded) Kickstarter page. The film should be ready for viewers in late 2014!
