Afternoon Tea at my Studio
Ever since I got my little office space this year, I’ve been hosting wonderful little tea parties for my friends and prospective clients. I recently fell in love with the idea of afternoon tea because of all the attention to detail and the care that it takes to put together all of the different treats and the pieces to my tea set. Rather than hauling my albums to Starbucks, I now get to immerse my clients in an experience that is very much me. Plus, thanks to my studio-mates Natalie Bowen Designs, there are always the most gorgeous floral arrangements to complete the spread. Below are a smattering of images from various tea parties I’ve hosted this year! Come by some time, and I’ll create a little afternoon tea for you too.
I love the macarons from Chantal Guillon right in the heart of San Francisco.
I picked up the little painted saucer while on vacation in Victoria, Canada. The teacups and matching saucers are vintage, from etsy.
My marble cake stand is from Williams Sonoma, and the darling blue, white, and gold teapot is from Anthropologie.
Finally, here’s a photo with my friend Emily, who got to enjoy my very first tea service when she visited from Boston!
Cheers!
