Karena & Jason | Grand Park | Downtown Los Angeles Wedding Photography

There’s an incredible depth of sincerity when Jason talks about Karena. They met in that most traditional way: on a dating app, and while that may have made it seem like any other casual millennial relationship at first, Jason quickly wised up to what a special woman Karena was. It wasn’t just her beauty, but her incredible heart that captivated him. He soon asked her parents for permission to marry (unbeknownst to Karena at the time), and a few months later, they were engaged.

Theirs was a wedding filled with excitement and capped with dancing in the fountain into the wee hours of the morning, smack dab in the middle of downtown Los Angeles. See some of the highlights below!

Their first look was in front of the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

I loved Jason’s airplane cufflinks and the assorted airplane lapel pins he and all his groomsmen wore as a nod to his service in the Air Force.

Thanks to this amazing wedding party for trekking down several city blocks to get to City Hall for these portraits. It was 90some degrees outside, but they all look cool as can be.

Paper airplanes were the theme of the night!

And then it was on to dancing! Jason is a video editor, and he crafted an awesome montage of dance scenes from all manner of movies and videos. It ran alongside their music set on this large projector screen.
