Portland | March, 2017
I visited Portland in late March to catch up with Angela and Chase for their portrait session and to just visit my friend Yifan and explore the city. it turned out to be a characteristic rainy/sunny mix for the season, but we still had plenty of mini adventures around the area.
A wonderful tea tasting at Smith Teamaker.
Beam & Anchor.
Collage.
Salt & Straw.
Angela and her son Elliot at Tasty n Alder for dinner.
PSU Farmer’s Market.
Powell’s.
Maak Lab.
The Waffle Window.
On Sunday, Yifan, Angela, Chase, Elliot, and I headed out east to go for some nature and wine country. Here’s the Vista House.
And then we randomly found an alpaca farm! I detoured the whole group there, of course.
Fox Tail Cider.
Hiyu Wine Farm, with food and wine pairings.
And finally, on Monday, while everyone else was at work, I went and explored the rhododendron garden.
Tea Bar.
Pok Pok.
And this is where I started my new watercolor hobby! I picked up a small kit, some paper, and started playing.
I always love visiting Portland. Til next time!
