Holiday Gifts from My Travels | Anna Wu Photography

Happy New Year! I am so thankful for the opportunity to have spent another year doing what I love most: photographing people in love and traveling around the world! 2017 was particularly special, as I celebrated my tenth year in business. I am so grateful for all of you who have supported me and made this possible!

For the past few years, I’ve had a little tradition of sending holiday gifts to all my wedding clients from the year, and holiday cards to friends and family as well. Much like last year, I gathered this year’s client gifts over the course of the year, picking up little parts of it along my travels. And to top it off, I utilized my new hobby of watercolor sketching and featured some of my illustrations on each of the gift tags. Here’s a look at how it all came together!

Here are the fronts of all the cards, including calligraphy from Brown Fox Calligraphy. My featured destinations in my gifts this year: Austin, Texas; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Portland, Oregon; Charleston, South Carolina; and Berlin, Germany. And on the card, the images are from Philadelphia; Chicago; Berlin; Charleston; Staunton, VA; Amsterdam; New York; and Portland.

The backs each carry a little explanation of the gifts: A cactus magnet from Austin; Stroopwafels from Amsterdam; drinking vinegars from Pok Pok Som in Portland; candles from Candlefish in Charleston; and chocolates from Ritter Sport in Berlin.

It’s so fun to collect and gift these each year!
