Isabella & Hugh | The Plumed Horse Wedding Reception

Isabella and Hugh first met four years ago at a charity event, and they immediately clicked over their consulting careers and their love of food, wine, and travel. In the years since, they have explored many new places and restaurants together, and those shared interests have only deepened. When it came time to think about their wedding, they knew they weren’t all that traditional, and they wanted to avoid a cookie cutter wedding. Instead, they decided to just have a simpler civil ceremony and then invite their friends and family to join in on their wedding reception, which was a Michelin-starred dining experience! It all came together beautifully in an elegant yet understated celebration featuring the full tasting menu at The Plumed Horse, one of Isabella and Hugh’s favorite restaurants. What a wonderful experience to share with their friends and family!

The menu for Isabella and Hugh’s wedding was impeccably chosen and presented. And these tiny macarons were the guests’ favors to take home at the end!

The kids even had their own room to hang out for the night, with their own menu of sliders and fries to enjoy.

Cocktail hour kicked off with a room dedicated to a full oyster and caviar bar!

With no ceremony to worry about, the bride and groom went ahead and mixed and mingled with guests for the whole night.

Here’s a glimpse at the dining room at The Plumed Horse.

And a tiny fraction of the wine offerings at the restaurant. You’ll see more of the wine cellar in some later images!

I love the choreography that happens at this level of service.

And here is a look at the gorgeous and delicious dishes of the day.

And after the beautiful meal, there was yet more to eat! An entire chocolate cart, as well as port and punch to serve as digestifs.

Congratulations, Isabella & Hugh! What a warm and happy– and incredibly delicious–  wedding celebration!
