Yannie & Howard | Old St. Hilary’s Wedding
Yannie and Howard met through mutual friends in their neighborhood and their church. They became friends first, hanging out here and there for a year until a group trip to the Winter Olympics in Korea brought them closer and provided the perfect setting for Howard to ask Yannie to be his girlfriend. When it came time to plan their wedding, they designed a Sonoma celebration that would bring together their friends and family from near and far, drawing many of them from Canada and the East Coast. And for their honeymoon, they would fly to Tokyo for the Olympics.
Of course, we all know that Covid-19 swooped in to change those plans. But as they redesigned many of the other things, Yannie and Howard kept their wedding date. They chose a charming venue: Old St. Hilary’s, a small historic church atop a hill in Tiburon with incredible vistas all around. Their immediate family members were the only guests, and their pastor was still able to be their officiant for their Christian ceremony. It was intimate, meaningful, and absolutely beautiful.
Congratulations, Yannie & Howard! Fingers crossed you’ll get to do part two and the Tokyo Olympics next year!
