Christine & Malcolm | SF Botanical Garden Proposal

Such a wonderful proposal in the San Francisco Botanical Gardens!

Malcolm pulled out all of the stops for his girlfriend Christine’s birthday. The couple is long-distance, with Malcolm living in Michigan and Christine here in California. He surprised her by flying in for her birthday, and not only that, but celebrating with her by involving her friends and family in elaborate setups all day long. He blindfolded her and then had his friends set up a whole picnic while she had no idea the friends were even involved. He blindfolded her and then presented her with a necklace that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. She was sort of hoping for a ring, but adjusted expectations accordingly. But after many different stops and blindfolded surprises that served as sufficient decoys, it was finally time for the biggest one of the day. Malcolm blindfolded Christine, walked her over to the pre-planned spot, and asked the question.

Of course she said yes!
