Another monthly recap, a year later. Lots of dining out and last times going places as a couple before we added the third to our trio!

Liholiho with Cindy & Vince

Their Baked Hawaii, a tasty play on the Baked Alaska.

Checking out Draymond Green’s new restaurant Meski

A visit to our favorite ayce hotpot, Sea Pot.

I was sewing up a storm, making ten outfits for bb and three for me in two months.

Ruth Asawa Retrospective at SFMOMA. Really inspiring. A very creative woman all around. She’s left a lasting legacy here in San Francisco.

I started knitting a baby romper that I still never finished… Here I was working on it when I had to go in for jury duty, but I definitely got dismissed and did not have to serve once I said I was 9 months pregnant. Went and treated myself to nearby Vietnamese afterwards.

Tunnel Tops with the Garrisons

Colibri Mexican Bistro in the Presidio afterwards. And a Valkyries game!

One of the maternity outfits I sewed myself, just duplicating an outfit I had purchased.

And making baby a matching dress and leggings in the same fabric.

Her pineapple romper that I knit from materials purchased in Minneapolis.

Her grey separates, knit on our babymoon on the Mendocino coast. And a look at all the outfits I made her before she was born.

Lunch with the grandparents!

A bubble romper made from my Japanese pattern book I found in Tokyo and cotton double gauze from Joann’s going out of business sale.

Our quarterly HOPR group date! I made Courtney’s baby a Tiny Tiles quilt like we all have for our babies. The fifth one I’ve made so far.

Cassie, Michael, and Courtney

Alex, Alex, and me

Another bubble romper from my Japanese pattern book. Also with Joann’s fabric.

The fruits from my baby shower all came back! Such a cute mix, and baby really loved staring at it from very early on.

My mom and aunt looking over all of my Taiwanese cookbooks.

Bodega.

Cooking up lots of reserves: beef noodle soup

Cod potato chowder

Short Rib stew

And sewing one last outfit for myself, in linen from Stonemountain & Daughter.

Peng You x Mahjong Project pop-up at Standard Deviant Brewing. Very nice gathering with friends!

And that’s it for June! We’ll see if I ever post from July on, or that might be it for the personal posts. Thanks for reading!
