Kim and Joir-dan met in high school, but it was not love at first sight. They annoyed each other and then became friends before they finally started dating in college. They lived all over the United States and spent much of their relationship long-distance from each other. Almost eight years later, they got engaged. We met in Joir-dan’s new city of San Francisco for their engagement portraits, and they even got to show off some of their steampunk/lolita outfits too.
