Sarah & Zach | Sea Ranch Elopement Photography

Halfway through planning their big, expensive wedding, Sarah and Zach did what a lot of couples find themselves doing: they turned to each other and said, “let’s just elope instead.” Most couples probably don’t go through with the idea, but for Sarah and Zach, it quickly became reality. With their families’ blessings, they flew from their home in Florida out to California and were wed in an intimate ceremony by the sea. Just them, two friends, and an officiant, plus all the perfect emotions of the day. See the gorgeous pair below.

Such joy! Toward the end of the ceremony, the clouds even lifted for a moment to let the sun shine through. The same thing happened when Zach proposed on a stormy lake. The storm retreated and the sun came out instead!

They each had a locket with photos of their daughter in it.
