Kim & Chris | Armstrong Redwoods & Vine Hill House Wedding Photography
They met when their mutual friends converged into a large group at midnight. Chris played hard to get, waiting an entire week before calling. But ever since then, they’ve been inseparable. Four years later, Kim and Chris ventured up north with their friends and family in tow to be wed. It was such a beautiful day filled with thoughtful, personal details: their two pups Sherlock & Watson at their side during the ceremony; the elegant combination of metallics and succulents; cheese in lieu of a wedding cake; a piñata they made themselves; a whiskey tasting bar; and especially the beautiful outdoor settings amidst the redwoods and the vineyards that they chose for their wedding day.
Unplugged ceremonies are the best! The couple asked guests to remain in their seats and stay present in the moment rather than trying to get that shot on their phones. It was such a beautiful setting in the redwoods too.

After the ceremony in the redwoods, we headed to Vine Hill House for a wonderful reception in the back yard, surrounded by the vineyards.

Despite the fact that Chris really doesn’t like having his portrait taken, he was totally game for a quick sunset session, and it was absolutely magical.

And just as the sun went down, it was time to transition to party time.
