M & D | Allied Arts Guild Wedding
M and D are the sweetest souls who met in Palo Alto and immediately felt at ease with each other. Their wedding day was full of personalized touches, including getting ready together at home under the supervision of their cat Butter, a nod to their careers as academics with some keynote presentations during their reception, and a giant Lady M Mille Crêpes cake and Teaspoon boba to top it all off.
I loved that M & D got ready together in their home. It made for some extra personal images and a special experience that many couples don’t get to have together on their wedding day!
An important nod to Butter the cat.
A quick ‘first look’ in the living room before they got ready to head over to the venue together.
Love the gardens at the Allied Arts Guild!
A union of families!
And a trilingual ceremony, officiated by M’s advisor.

Spotted at the venue!
Then it was time for some powerpoint presentations from the keynote speakers. Very cute.
And some important superlatives from the bride and groom themselves, like the guest who traveled the farthest or the person most likely to respond to a text with “nice” (D’s father). Such a creative way for the guests to get to know each other too.
Then it was time for some sunset portraits!
And dessert! A giant Lady M cake and boba.
Congratulations, M & D! What a wonderful day.
