Not all proposals are surprises! In this case David already had to reschedule the proposal because Julia figured out the original date. When rain forecasts threatened the new date, he decided to just go ahead with it anyway. Julia was still working overtime trying to spoil the surprise, so before they even got there, she already knew what was happening. Ah, well, it was lovely regardless! The rain held off and transformed the skies into a soft, layered backdrop. The most beautiful ambiance for these moody photos.
