Gemma & Kevin | Outdoor Art Club, Mill Valley | Bay Area Wedding Photography

5000 miles could not keep them apart. While they grew up in two very different places– Gemma in Ireland and Kevin in California– fate brought them together in the beautiful city of San Francisco. They met for a drink which turned into dinner and then one unbelievable adventure after another. A year and a day later, they were engaged.

Kevin’s generous heart can only be matched by Gemma’s kindness and wicked sense of humor. The two have a beautiful sense of balance and fun about them. It was a love-filled day at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley when they were wed.

All of the florals were simply stunning, and they were all DIY by the bride’s Aunt Marian.

I love Gemma’s flowy dress with those ethereal sleeves. As Kevin says, she’s an Irish goddess!

The Outdoor Art Club is a charming house and gardens designed by famed architect Bernard Maybeck. It has just the right balance of beautifully thoughtful details and rustic charm.

Gemma and Kevin cleverly used postcards to mark the tables and serve as escort cards as well.

A reaction to Gemma’s sister shouting, “Go Giants!” in honor of Kevin’s family. And the Giants incidentally swept Detroit and won the World Series that very night.

Love inspires love.

And then there was karaoke…

Gemma’s mother made the adorable mouse caketoppers!

Congratulations, Gemma & Kevin! Here’s to many more adventures to come!
