A lovely story, as told by our couple themselves:
Once upon a time, there was a cute little hot dog stand in the lovely college town of Berkeley, CA that went by the name of Top Dog where our couple had their very first date. They shared a few laughs and maybe a napkin (or two), marking the start of something exciting and new.
Before they knew it, the years started flying by, bringing new jobs, new adventures, new homes, and eventually even a yard full of chickens. A few years in, our heroine boarded a plane bound for India without her hero, who waited patiently for her at home, plotting. When she returned, he said, “are you hungry?” and she said, “yes.” And then, after hot dogs, he looked at her and said “will you?” and she, of course, said YES!
On September first, surrounded by the majesty of the redwood grove, Joyce and Keven spoke their vows to each other and started the next chapter of their story together. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding day!

Keven and Joyce surprised each other with beautiful gifts– Keven’s brand new Rolex joins his camera dial cufflinks.
Joyce also gifted her bridesmaids each with a beautiful macaron jewelry box and a personalized monogram necklace inside.
Nestldown is a charming venue up in the Los Gatos hills.
Some hot dog socks for the groom and a beautiful bouquet for the bride.
I love this setting amidst the redwoods!
They had a Quaker-style marriage certificate signed by each of their guests, and a globe where friends could suggest new adventures for the travel-loving couple.
The wedding party and the bride made their dramatic descent into the redwood grove for the ceremony.
The London Taxi was a lovely touch as well– decorated by the groomsmen that day!
There was even a miniature train on hand for rides around the track.
And of course, the famous Top Dog made a stellar appearance at cocktail hour and in the evening.
Fresh fruit escort cards and gorgeous florals from Farmgirl Flowers created an elegant outdoor reception setting.
The couple performed a spectacular first dance complete with spinning lifts.
And then the barn was converted to a wonderful party setting!
Such sweet elegance.
