Calligraphy & Centerpieces Workshop

Last weekend, I teamed up with Brianne of Brown Fox Calligraphy and Melanie of Hawthorn Flower Studio to offer our “Calligraphy and Centerpieces” workshop in San Francisco. We had a full class of ten awesome students. They first learned the basics of calligraphy for menus and escort cards and then each got to create a small bud vase and a large centerpiece to take home! Such a lovely setup for the calligraphy portion of the class!

Melanie brought such a beautiful fall spread for the floral arrangement part of the class. I love the persimmons– and students actually got to incorporate those into their centerpieces too!

Haha, I love that Melanie basically climbs into her compost bags to get them open.

 

The little bud vase arrangements were all so cute!

Brianne and I both got in on the flower arranging too. So much fun!

The finished centerpieces were all incredible!
