Chicago | Summer, 2017

|

I’ve been lucky enough to make three trips to Chicago this summer: to photograph a wedding, for a bachelorette party, and to attend a wedding! Below are some little snippets from all three visits.

Trip number one: for Angie & Randy’s wedding.

Brunch with a bunch of TAF friends!

Trip number two: Thank you to Angie for hosting me in your new home!

A wonderful bridal shower, and the bride’s nephews all serenaded her with a song.

Cake time!

Cocktails at the Violet Hour.

And an amazing meal at the Girl & the Goat.

And trip number three! Met up with Ming and Angie for lunch at Portillos.

Then Angie and I headed to the Museum of Contemporary Art and checked out the Murakami exhibit.

Such a barrage of cute-meets-creepy.

And finally, two sketches from my walk back to the loop. The el:

And Daley Plaza!

Cheers to Chicago. It’s always lovely to be back in the Midwest!
