Miriam & George | San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography
I walked up to find George a bundle of nerves, rendered quiet with his level of anticipation before the ceremony. He’s usually the talkative one, according to Miriam. But the excitement of the day was a lot to take in. They had a whole crew of family members and friends there to support them in their wedding. They wanted to do something small, and City Hall seemed just the right combination of simple and beautiful. Of course, they also chose the lucky 8.8.18 date, with lots of eights for good luck, but they weren’t alone in this thought, and the building was packed to the brim with weddings! It took a little while to wait their turn, but when it came time, nothing else existed but their little circle of love inside the rotunda. George’s father even skyped in from Ohio. And afterwards, they got to breathe a little sigh of relief that the hardest part was over, and we roamed around the building for some portraits before they headed out for a celebratory dinner with everyone! See a little peek of the day below.
Camera angles and great timing make a packed building seem empty!
