Tiffany & Tevis | The Highlands Estate Wedding Photography
Tiffany and Tevis actually grew up on the same street in Palo Alto, attending the same elementary school. But because they were a year apart, they never met in California. In fact, they met on the opposite side of the earth in Kenya, where they now run a startup developing sustainable forestry in Africa. But the couple came back to California, joined by their loved ones, in celebration of their wedding day. They chose a beautiful venue at Highlands Estate and included so many thoughtful elements throughout the day that nodded to their business, their home in Kenya, their families, and even their little dog. See all of these beautiful details below!

Here’s the first peek at some eucalyptus, which was used throughout the wedding as a nod to the eucalyptus that features prominently in their forestry business!

And then things got weird for a moment as Tiffany’s sister unveiled some dinosaur masks, haha.

The bride got to mingle with her guests during the welcome drinks– wearing a different outfit.
And then it was time to be seated for the ceremony.
The bride and groom asked several of their loved ones to share readings during the ceremony.
And then there were tons of bubbles for the exit!
The table names are safari animals in Swahili, a nod to Kenya. You probably recognize Simba, or lion, whether you knew it or not.
I loved these deckled place cards with different styles of hand lettering!
Just before the sun went down, we went to the vineyards for some portraits. Always say yes to sunset portraits!
