Cynthia & Erik | Berkeley Engagement Photography

|

I am delighted to share today this hearty dose of sunset magic and a brilliant love story that survives nine years of long distance and includes a marriage proposal in a lavender field which each of them had driven over ten hours to reach, in the midst of a pandemic. Cynthia and Erik met in college and have been together for over a decade but will finally be wed this spring and will be living in the same city by summer. I was happy to be able to join them in the Berkeley Hills for this beautiful engagement session.

Early in their long-distance relationship, Cynthia hand-sewed these adorable felt whales to symbolize their communication across great distances. Perfect.
