Hillary & Paul | Vine Hill House, Sebastopol Wedding
Nearly a decade ago, he was a groomsman and she a bridesmaid, and their worlds converged at their friends’ wedding. Paul asked Hillary to dance. This would soon kick off a long-distance romance that would take them around the world and from coast to coast. They were always together no matter how far apart they were, and they would always find their way back to each other. Last year, mid-pandemic, Hillary and Paul were wed in a mini ceremony. But this year, they were finally able to celebrate their marriage in the big wedding event that allowed them to bring their loving families, communities, and even all the dogs together, physically, everyone all in one place. And towards the end of the evening, he even asked her to dance. Full Circle.
Their wedding venue was the lovely Vine Hill House in Sebastopol.
Many pups were a part of the big day, including Hillary and Paul’s dog Pawblo and Hillary’s family’s dog Chusi.
This was a gathering of multiple Anna Wu Photography couples from this past year! Always such a joy to see past clients at new weddings.
Paul is a high school math teacher, so he made all of the guests solve algebra problems to locate their seating arrangements, haha.
Hillary’s sister baked the wedding cake.
The entire community is not only loving and generous but also incredibly talented. The bride’s mother wrote a beautiful poem for the couple.
Also a great sense of humor in this crowd, and an above average love of puns.
The groom’s mother sang and recorded an entire song, including a rap, which she performed for everyone. Yes. Beyond.
And then it was time to get back to where it all began, on a wedding dance floor. With a first dance as husband and wife that also included…
