Jia & Suyash | Scotts Valley Indian Wedding

Jia and Suyash are the warmest complements to each other. Suyash is laid back and an avid reader. According to Jia, he excels at sitting still. Meanwhile, Jia is passionate, energetic, and never sitting still. On their first trip together, they visited Cuba, where Jia discovered Suyash’s questionable packing choices, and Suyash was introduced to Jia’s virtuosic mastery of spreadsheets and packing lists. They bring out the best in each other and are each other’s fiercest advocates and supporters. All of this, including the love of spreadsheets and organization balanced with the ability to just go with the flow, has become critical in the countless times that Jia and Suyash have had to plan and replan their wedding. But finally, over Labor Day weekend, they were able to be wed in the hills of Santa Cruz, with their closest friends and family in attendance.

Day one was their Pooja, a Hindu ceremony in honor of Suyash’s Indian heritage. Day two, with their western-style ceremony and reception, is featured here.

Congratulations, Jia & Suyash! View part two of the celebrations here.
