Kayaking in Tomales Bay

On a beautiful day in July, we drove north of the city for an afternoon of kayaking in Tomales Bay. Alex signed us up for a group kayak tour with REI, and we were lucky in every way with not only clear skies but also favorable winds, and we discovered the ease of a tandem kayak with a rudder! So much easier than trying to coordinate the direction of our turns by paddling like we did in Channel Islands, haha.
