Elaine & Sean | Oakland Redwoods Wedding

If you’ve been following along, you might remember Elaine and Sean as the couple who had me hike two hours up and down a mountain for their engagement session. Of course it was completely worth it, not only because the setting was beautiful, but because Elaine and Sean were an absolute joy to be around, the place was personal and meaningful, and the entire experience was true to them as a couple. Of course when it came time to plan their wedding, I knew it would also be special.

They decided to have a mini ceremony on a weekday with only their immediate families in attendance. And though the hiking was kept to a minimum this time, the setting was just as magical as last time. And now they were pledging forever, with their closest family encircling them as witnesses, and the towering redwoods encircling us all. What a beautiful way to begin a marriage.
