Aparna & Shiv | The French Laundry Double Proposal

This was such a sweet double proposal. Aparna reached out to me to let me know that she and Shiv were planning their proposals together, and they would both be proposing, not as a surprise, but as something they wanted to do together. They had designed matching rings together, and each wrote a card that they would read to the other. It all took place at The French Laundry, where they would celebrate together with their friends over a three-starred Michelin meal at the end of the night. See more of this sweet story below!

We met at The French Laundry’s gardens just across the street from the restaurant. First Aparna presented Shiv with her card, and then he read his card to her.

And then the theatrical presentation of the rings, which, of course, weren’t actually a surprise, but it was still fun to get to this moment together!

And then we got to capture some more fun portraits around the gardens, until it was time to head over to The French Laundry for a champagne toast.
