it was a beautifully sunny day in columbus– except i had forgotten what windy 3° weather actually feels like. but not to worry, i finally got to meet and work with caroline in person. we stayed warm and took over weigel hall at ohio state. here’s a bit of what we came up with.
begin: east oakland. norcal suburbia– speedy highways and lots of strip malls. south bay– gas fillup, trader joe’s and starbucks. gilroy and such– agricultural california. lots and lots of cows. very garlicky garlic town. pancheco– driving through gorgeous hills, cutting across to the 5.
