As promised, here are some more photos from the New York trip thus far. To start things off, we go to Central Park.

nyc_1246_rtMy first reactions to the city: 1. it’s dirty. 2. there are too many people everywhere. I suppose these things make for a place with “character” that you can’t find anywhere else.

This is definitely an endlessly interesting place where every niche is filled. But I prefer a softer version of city life. So despite New York’s famed frenetic hum, I managed to seek out and find some semblance of serenity too.
