2024 Year In Review
2024 was a very full year, packed with adventures near and far and projects large and small.
We traveled to Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos, New Mexico for a ski trip in February. We visited Tampa Bay and Miami for baseball stadiums number 25 and 26 in April and Kansas City for the 27th in September. We visited New York over Labor Day and Los Angeles for Second Thanksgiving. And we finished the year in Taipei. Back home in the Bay, I opened the year with a music and mahjong-themed birthday party and hosted and attended mahjong gatherings throughout the year, as well as hand-carving and painting my own San Francisco-themed mahjong set. I brought Alex on a surprise trip to Stinson Beach for his birthday. We completed the entire Crosstown Trail, though it took almost a year. We gathered with our closest friends for our quarterly dinner at the House of Prime Rib. We hosted eight different potluck dinners for our Taiwanese American Cookbook Club! And we attended three different Taiwan Days at baseball stadiums all around the Bay, with the Oakland A’s, the San Jose Giants, and the San Francisco Giants. I also completed our Giants quilt and am ready for another breezy baseball season, which is coming very soon!
