Courtney & Colin | Trentadue Winery | Healdsburg Wedding Photography
They have lovingly been dubbed the Duke and the Duchess, after Colin’s last name Duke. On a sunny day in June, they were married in a beautiful celebration with just the right amount of elegance and romance befitting their royal titles. The day comprised an array of beautiful settings in Geyserville, Santa Rosa, and Healdsburg, and it soared through a vast array of emotions, from the lighthearted moments of hilarity to the kinds of deep, meaningful moments that resonate in your core. It was a beautiful day with a radiant couple.
Courtney wore her mother’s veil and a necklace designed by her mother.
Both her parents helped to get Courtney in her dress (amidst her father’s comical renditions of Gone With the Wind). The beautiful veil photo on the right was captured by my second shooter Kirsten.
We headed to the Ferrari-Carano winery in Geyserville for the first look. Kirsten captured the reaction on the right. I love having a second shooter for these multiple angles!
The florals were beautifully crafted by Vanda Floral Design.
The ceremony was at the Santa Rosa Christian Church, and Courtney was beautiful coming down the aisle with her parents.
The first moments coming out of the ceremony are always so precious!
The reception was held in the beautiful vineyards at Trentadue Winery in Healdsburg. First, a bit of bustling assistance by the groom.
The family portraits went off beautifully with Courtney’s father at the helm, playing master conductor with all the different groupings listed in his hand.
Courtney’s wonderfully create masterpiece, this beautiful guest book layout organized all her family and friends along the vines in the ways that they knew the couple (work, church, high school, etc.). Each guest filled out a leaf with their well wishes.
Such a pretty cake and a gorgeous setting.
And finally, some super sweet moments from the first dance.
Congratulations to the Duke and the Duchess on a beautiful wine country wedding!
On a technical note for my fellow photographers out there, four of the above frames were shot on film. See if you can spot them!
