Rebecca is one of the smartest yet humblest people that I know. We were friends from college, and then we were roommates my first two years living in California. It was autumn in our first year as roommates when Rebecca first met Dave, and they clicked immediately. What could have been a brief first date stretched to fill hours instead, and at some point, they even found themselves in an escapade searching for a public bathroom in downtown Berkeley — a funny and wonderful start to a full life together.
It’s been over five years now, and I am so happy to see them taking the next step of their journey together. These two have gotten progressively more suburban and domestic over the years, as Dave first replaced me as Rebecca’s roommate in San Francisco, and then they moved to South Bay and now live in a house complete with a yard and two dogs, all of which got to be a part of our engagement shoot together. We started at their home with the puppies, and then we got to head out into nature at Alum Rock Park in San Jose.
