Yoon & Steve | San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography
Theirs was a whirlwind romance. Yoon, originally from Korea, was in Iowa for graduate school, while Steve, from Indiana, had found his way to Iowa for work. They were set up on a blind date and knew immediately that they had found something special. By their fifth date, Yoon was flying across the country to meet Steve in San Francsico, because he was traveling there for work. Less than a year later, Steve would come up with an elaborate plan to surprise her with a trip back to San Francisco. And back at Incanto, the restaurant where they had their fifth date, he proposed.
It was perfect for Yoon and Steve to come back to San Francisco to officially be wed. And while it was a civil ceremony, they brought along a large group of twenty friends and family from all over the country and from Korea to help them celebrate. The day was filled with the brightest of smiles and even a couple happy tears. It was so special to witness such a gracious, joy-filled ceremony.
I absolutely love Yoon’s bouquet from Church Street Flowers. And Yoon’s smile was simply radiant throughout the day.
Yoon’s necklace was very special, as it belonged to her mother, who passed away. Her father brought it with him from Korea.
There were so many lovely moments between Yoon, an only child, and her father. And Steve, the youngest of his family, was joined by his parents and family too.
San Francisco City Hall. There’s absolutely no better setting for a civil ceremony!
A beautiful celebration with such a lovely group of people. Congratulations, Yoon & Steve!
