They met at the CIA (the Culinary Institute of America and not the Central Intelligence Agency). They had grown up across the country from each other, Ashley in Pennsylvania and Chad in Las Vegas, each with a wide range of interests. But their love of cooking drew them to California. They bonded over food, laughter, and wine, and they found themselves falling in love.
Over three years later, they headed to a beautiful little lodge set against the Pacific Ocean, and with their closest friends and family, they tied the knot. It was a gorgeous day full of sunshine and happy tears.
The tears started early with mom instigating!
Ashley wore some beautiful orchids and two hair jewels from her great grandmother in her hair.
Her grandmother gifted her an old ring, resized to fit perfectly.
The decor was simple and perfect. The Pacific Ocean doesn’t need much decoration.
I absolutely love the table markings. Each table was an herb, and each seat had that herb tucked in to the napkin. Perfect for two chefs!

We headed for the cliffs during sunset, just in time for these amazing portraits.
And the night was topped off with cake and dancing!
