Stephanie & Dalen | Legion of Honor | San Francisco Wedding Photography

Dalen sat in front of Stephanie at a new church they were both visiting one day, and they met during the unusually long ‘meet and greet’ time after the service. Stephanie left the service thinking she’d never see Dalen again…until he walked by her a few blocks from her home. They ended up walking together to Trader Joe’s, where Dalen asked Stephanie out on their first date. Over churros and ramen, they began bonding over all of their commonalities, including the fact that Stephanie had already met Dalen’s grandmother, since she was at his cousins’ house in California, where she grew up. The coincidences gave way to deeper and deeper connections, until Stephanie found herself being whisked away to Italy two years later, where Dalen proposed on the steps of a Venetian Canal.

While Stephanie and Dalen both live in New York City, they flew across the country to San Francisco to celebrate their wedding with friends and family. The Legion of Honor art museum served as an elegant backdrop to all of the grins and the tears of the day.
