Wine Tasting in Healdsburg

Back in March, right after I had gotten back from New Zealand and Australia (which I have yet to blog), I got to join my friend Nancy for a day of wine tasting in Healdsburg in celebration of her birthday. It was such a lovely way to return to California. See some of the beautiful vineyards and tasty wines below!

Stop number one was Mauritson, where we not only got to try some of their many Zinfandels, but got a little lesson on terrior and how the soil relates to taste.

Winery number two was Truett-Hurst, which was extra entertaining due to the farm and animals on site.

Stop number three was Papapietro, which provided us a lovely tasting on their patio.

The youngest member of our group was just one month old! Don’t worry; she was just there for the views.
