As soon as the game started, she pegged him in the chest with the dodgeball. It was the first night of the season for their trampoline dodgeball league (yes, really!), and Stefanie, with her competitive streak shining brightly, had already scouted their opposing team and identified Andrew as a worthy opponent. He wasn’t just struck by the ball. He was struck by her beauty. After she got him out throughout a few more matches, they started chatting, and Andrew offered a truce where they vowed not to hit each other. They’ve been together ever since, and they even made their way onto the same team so they could be partners in trampoline dodgeball… and in life.
Terrible puns aside, Stefanie and Andrew make a formidable team. She is meticulous in her planning and knows exactly what she wants, and Andrew can vacillate between being totally relaxed and go-with-the-flow and also incredibly detailed in his planning (as evidenced by his amazing diagrams when he proposed at the trampoline park without Stefanie suspecting a thing). They’ve become the perfect complements to one another, and we all got to bear witness as they made their vows official against the rolling hills of San Jose.

Stefanie’s sister Joanna made two whole macaron towers for the wedding. Pretty amazing for a hobbyist baker!

Andrew wrote Stefanie three different cards for her to read as she was getting ready for the day.
She wasn’t expecting to get emotional, but it was just too sweet.
Meanwhile, Andrew was reading Stefanie’s card while he was getting ready in a different hotel.
Loved their first look. Andrew started crying the instant he saw Stefanie. He just looks at her with such love and awe. There’s nothing sweeter.
